This is a location work done on a full sheet of paper. References to diamonds and gems is an analogy about the material world being like a faceted gemstone that disperses light.

This is a view of the Pedrenal. I did the drawing on location in black ink and added the pastel to it in the studio.
I began this piece on location. I was out in the hot desert just south of Santa Fe. It was midday and the sunlight was radiating everywhere. I am looking toward the northwest, those are the Jemez mountains and Los Alamos National Laboratory is somewhere in the distance. Several hours pass as I work on this image. I am above 7,000 feet on a desert mesa. The atmosphere is crystal clear as the desert light actively moves. I found it interesting that several PHds at the Laboratory are involved in the Paranormal research inquiring into and receiving information on accelerating the rate of radioactive decay.

The world of electromagnetic energy is actively vibrating at all times. Conditioned sensory receptors generally perceive only the visible light spectrum. Ultra-violet and inferred are borderline and considered beyond the range of visual interpretation. The human body, the Earth, the Sun and all of the Universe is electromagnetic energy. Radio waves, x-rays, gamma rays, and other cosmic rays are all part of this vibrating communication system between all the parts of the greater whole.

I did this one on location and then added the color to it back at the studio. While I was adding the color the patterns in the sky just sort of happened. I call this one, " Opening The Dream Window". To sort of paraphrase something Depak Chopra once said, These are the windows in the structure of reality where upon entering the space between thoughts infinite possibilities exist.
